The brains behind the price board
An AVS Price Change Unit shows the price — but it doesn't decide it. That job belongs to two purpose-built control units that work as a pair on every forecourt installation.
The PCU Controller lives inside the monolith or pylon, distributing data and power to the LED digit panels and managing brightness and back-lighting. The Price Sign Terminal sits on the cashier counter in the shop, giving staff a simple back-lit display and keypad to enter prices and push them to the board.
Together they turn a price change from a ladder-and-clip-numbers chore into a few keystrokes — and they're the same control layer that connects to your POS / IFSF forecourt controller when you want pump and pole prices to stay in sync automatically.

PCU Controller
Mounted inside the price totem, the PCU Controller distributes data and power to the digit panels, drives auto-brightness, and switches the monolith back-light by ambient light. Add-on modules extend it to POS integration or radio control.

Price Sign Terminal
A counter-top control unit for the cashier or station manager. The back-lit LCD shows every price on the board, and the 16-button industrial keypad lets staff change a price and send it in seconds — wall-mounted or sitting on the desk.

How they work together
From keystroke to lit digit — three steps, no ladder, no climbing the totem.
1 — Key it in
Staff enter the new fuel price on the Price Sign Terminal's 16-button keypad, reading every grade's current price off the back-lit LCD.
2 — Send it
The terminal pushes the change to the controller over a wired link or a 2.4 GHz radio modem — your choice at install, no shop wiring required for the wireless option.
3 — Drive the board
The PCU Controller updates the price across up to 8 PCUs on the monolith, auto-managing brightness and back-light. Add-on IFSF integration is available for sites that want price changes to flow automatically from the POS.
