AVS Display Sdn Bhd (online: AVS Display Malaysia) has designed and manufactured outdoor LED displays and lighting for petrol-station forecourts for over 9 years. What began in Kuala Lumpur is now run from our own facility in Malaysia, where we engineer, assemble and test the hardware that keeps fuel prices visible and forecourts lit, day and night.
Our core line covers LED Price Change Units (PCUs) for monoliths and pylons, LED tubes for signage and forecourt identity lighting, and LED backlight systems such as modules and lens strips for light boxes and monolith faces. Every unit is built to be integration-ready, linking cleanly to forecourt controllers and POS over serial RS232–RS485 using the IFSF protocol so pump and pole prices stay in sync.
We work to one standard: "Leading the LED Revolution for Petrol Stations and Beyond." That means hardware engineered for the outdoors, customised to each operator's site, and supported through the full life of the installation.
The founder is the one who turns up
AVS was started by Brian Yap, and on most jobs he is still the person walking the panels with you. This photograph was taken at a customer’s fabrication plant — not ours — checking a batch of backlit sign faces before they went out.
That is the practical difference between buying locally and buying a container. Questions get answered the same day, by someone who can decide, and problems get looked at in person rather than escalated across a time zone.

Every AVS unit ships with a 3-year standard warranty, and it can be extended to 5 years. Coverage follows the hardware from installation, not just the invoice date.
RM100,000 Replaced at Our Own Cost
When a board-set needed replacing, AVS covered the full replacement cost, about RM100,000, entirely self-funded. Nothing was passed on to the client. That is what standing behind our product looks like in practice.
